Smart, beautiful, and deeply in love, Sunday is living the American dream. But that dream quickly turns into a nightmare when she uncovers a web of deceit, lies, and an unthinkable betrayal that sends her to the edge of madness. Filled with humor and heartache, Sunday Mourning will take audiences on an emotional roller coaster as they follow Sunday’s journey to discover the truth about herself, her world, and her long lost dream.

Kinnik Sky (Writer/Sunday)
Kinnik Sky was a finalist on the mega hit show American Idol. Having done more than 25 stage plays over the last 20 years, her major theatre credits include Dream Girls, For Colored Girls and Madea’s Class Reunion. She has worked with power producers Tyler Perry, Robert Townsend and Kenny Leon in multiple projects. Her proudest accomplishment to date is writing, producing and starring in “Sunday Mourning” which was nominated for 7 NAACP THEATRE AWARDS and won 3 which included 2 personal nominations for Kinnik Sky as Best Female Lead which she won and Best Playwright. Kinnik recently debuted her sophomore production Pieces this past winter in Los Angeles to rave reviews.
Marquis Boone ( Executive Producer Atlanta)
If passion and purpose have long served as stalwart roots for Atlanta-based pastor Marquis Boone, then the titles of spiritual leader, motivational speaker, Amazon best-selling author, entrepreneur, mentor, and spiritual advisor to a host of celebrities are certainly the outreaching branches that have sprouted from his lifelong dedication to building the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Amin Joseph (David)
Amin Joseph has been featured in The Expendables and Homefront, both Lionsgate action releases written by Sylvester Stallone. Amin also appears in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, starring Bruce Willis and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. In 2013, Amin teamed with director Frank Darabont (The Green Mile , Shawshank Redemption) for their third project together, as recurring Booker ” Skeety” Washington Smith on TNT’s Mob City ;Cinemax series Zane’s Sex Chronicles & Zane’s The Jump Off . Partial television credits include Sons of Anarchy, Southland, The Rebels, Major Crimes, N.C.I.S., & CSI: Miami. Amin’s film highlights include Stephen King’s sci-fi thriller The Mist, Best Night Ever, and SuperFast! in theaters fall 2014. Amin is currently recurring on the original Amazon series Transparent & stars in his executive produced action thriller Call Me King in post-production.
Tabitha Brown (Jamecia)
Tabitha Brown, a North Carolina Native and film & television actress most known for her independent film success. She has starred in “Thug Love”, “Outrighteous”, and “Keeping the Faith”. She has had short film success in award winning films “Hero” and “Helpless”, and has graced the big screen in the hit comedy “Laughing to the Bank”. Tabitha can also be seen in “Basketball Wives LA Parody” as Brooke and web series Juicey & BeBe as “BeBe”. Tabitha is super excited to join the amazing production “Sunday Mourning.”
Rhonda Morman (Stormie)

ROGER PAYANO (David):
ROGER PAYANO a graduate of the Actors Repertory Theatre of The National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Washington DC. Roger recently starred in 20th Century Fox’s DEVIL’S DUE and is coming off of a re-staging of Tai French’s hit stage play PUSH as well as a six week run of the classic stage play THE PETRIFIED FOREST at Theatre West. JERREL ONEAL (Chase)
JERREL ONEAL is a native of Detroit MI. He attended Alabama State University were he received his B.A in Theater. He went on to sign an professional acting contract to B Street Theater in Sacramento. He is The “Marvin Sims” award recipient for the 2010 KCACTF National acting competition. Some of his work in includes August Wilsons “Jitney” (Booster), Loraine Hansberry’s “A Raisin In The Sun” (George Murchison) , and Don B. Welches “Fight Club” (Duboy).
